In light of the global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bertin has a special thought for those who are mobilized to stop the disease.

EMPLOYEE PROTECTION

Implementing national & international governmental measures aiming at limiting the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, & complying with the World Health Organization (WHO) directives, Bertin has established preventive actions for the protection of its employees, customers, distributors & partners, while ensuring the continuity of its activities in France & abroad, in countries where it owns subsidiaries.

When possible, most of Bertin’s employees are therefore fully equipped to work from home.

Your regular correspondents are reachable by phone & e-mail to answer your administrative, technical, support or advisory questions, and to accompany you in all your projects/requests.

CONTINUATION OF ACTIVITIES IN THE FIELDS OF MEDICAL WASTE MANAGEMENT & LIFE SCIENCES

In keeping with its employees’ safety, Bertin intends to ensure the continuity of its customers’ critical activities (large public & private companies, states & local authorities) but also its own activities participating in the fight against the pandemic.

When possible, & in compliance with health recommendations, its teams continue to intervene on-sites, placing priority on medical waste management activities and linked to life sciences, in order to support the fight against the virus.

As for the remaining services, it has been decided to limit travels & thus the risk of exposure for our technicians & customers. Longer response times may be necessary.

KNOWLEDGE MOBILIZATION FOR RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Bertin is currently putting in a great deal of efforts & resources to answer the issues related to COVID-19 crisis management, through:

  • Its equipment dedicated to medical waste management, already operational in hospitals;
  • Its investments in Research & Development, going into historical partnerships with state bodies, to achieve solutions for COVID-19 detection & quick analysis on the population.

Please be sure our teams are doing their best to continue to support you in such a hard time. We will keep you informed of the evolution of our measures, in accordance with new government directives.

We thank you in advance for your trust.
